I never really know what to write in these sections. Most office biographies seem to alternate between being suspiciously confident or completely interchangeable, so this is an attempt at neither.

I studied architecture in Brussels, graduating with Distinction, and am currently completing a Master at KU Leuven in Ghent. Somewhere along the way, I excavated a house into the caves beneath Maastricht, contributed drawings to a publication, designed a space for retreat in office environments, and became increasingly interested in the rituals, encounters, and occasional awkwardness of everyday life.

In a few months, I will move to Tokyo for an exchange semester at Waseda University. I suspect that experience will eventually find its way into my master thesis, and that this website will slowly absorb whatever comes from it.

For now, this is simply a record of what has occupied my attention so far: models that were too large to carry comfortably, photographs of ordinary situations, unfinished ideas, and projects that ask more questions than they answer.
